How to Host a Professional Corporate Dinner Event at Hazelnut Farm

How to Host a Professional Corporate Dinner Event at Hazelnut Farm

A corporate dinner should feel organized, comfortable, and easy for guests to settle into. At Hazelnut Farm, we host corporate dinners designed around clear flow, plated dining, and spaces that support conversation without distractions.

Planners often come to us looking for privacy, structure, and a venue that keeps logistics straightforward. That mindset shapes how we host events here.

A Corporate Dinner That Feels Focused and Welcoming

Corporate dinners work best when guests understand the rhythm of the evening. Arrival feels calm, transitions make sense, and dinner service stays on schedule. Our role is to provide the setting and support that allow that to happen naturally.

Beautiful Catering

Spaces That Support Plated Dinner Service

Corporate dinners at Hazelnut Farm are typically hosted in our main ballroom. The space accommodates up to 350 guests for a plated reception, making it a strong fit for company celebrations, leadership dinners, and client events.

Guests enter through the grand foyer, which works well for check-in, welcome signage, or branded displays. From there, the evening moves into the ballroom for dinner. Brick details, pine ceilings, and crystal chandeliers give the room a polished look that feels professional and photo-ready. The covered porch offers an additional space for guests to step away from the tables. French doors connect the porch and ballroom, so movement between areas feels easy and intuitive.

Guest Flow From Arrival Through Dinner

Guest experience often comes down to how people move through the space. The layout supports gathering in the foyer, transitioning into seated dining, and using the covered porch as an extension of the event. The property is fully paved and ADA compliant, which helps all attendees navigate comfortably throughout the evening.

Catering and Bar Policies That Support Consistent Service

Food and beverage service sets the tone for a corporate dinner. At Hazelnut Farm, a full-service caterer from our approved list is required. These catering teams are familiar with the property, which helps dinner service stay organized. We strongly encourage using the same caterer for both food and bar service for consistency. All alcohol must be purchased and served by a vendor with an ABC-issued license. Self-serve alcohol and BYOB are not permitted, including in dressing suites during the event.

Last call takes place at 11 30 pm or 30 minutes before your event's end time. Bartenders remain on site serving non alcoholic beverages and water until the conclusion of the event. We also provide ice, warming boxes, trash support, and venue access coordination to support your catering team throughout the evening.

What is Included With Your Corporate Dinner Booking

Many planners appreciate having essential items already handled. We include tables and chairs for use inside the venue and on the paved patio outside. This includes gold Chiavari chairs with ivory tie-on pads, a range of round and banquet tables, adjustable bistro tables, and bourbon barrels. The catering prep kitchen includes warming boxes, a commercial-grade refrigerator, sinks, prep tables, carts, dollies, and on-site ice storage.

We also offer in-house rental options for select items, such as a black and white dance floor and additional cooking equipment, coordinated in advance with our team. Linens are coordinated through our trusted supplier and handled directly by our staff. Linens arriveflat-pressedd at the venue, are placed on tables by our team, and are returned after the event.

Vendor Rules That Matter For Corporate Planning

All planning and catering or bartending vendors must be selected from our approved lists. These vendors meet Hazelnut Farm insurance and permitting requirements and understand how events operate on the property.

Vendors providing floral design, rentals, photography, videography, entertainment, beauty services, and transportation may be used as long as they follow Hazelnut Farm policies. A vendor policies packet is provided, so expectations are clear ahead of time. Culturally specific catering partners may be welcomed with prior approval. These vendors must tour the property and sign a usage agreement.

Conclusion

Corporate dinners are often about connection, recognition, and shared momentum. We support that by offering adaptable spaces, clear policies, and practical inclusions that reduce planning friction. To move forward, request the pricing guide or contact our team to talk through guest count, layout options, and vendor requirements.
